Most Americans appreciate constitutional rights but often take them for granted. Today, more and more people have a claim to rights promised in the Constitution, but these rights are constantly questioned or directly threatened. With that in mind, we've decided to donate 20% of every sale to the American Civil Liberties Union.
The ACLU has existed as a force supporting civil liberties in the United States since the height of World War I. Started as a small group that stood up for thousands of Americans who were rounded up and falsely imprisoned or whose private property was violated through illegal search and seizure, the ACLU defended individuals from an undeserved fear of Communism that spread after Russia's conversion. Throughout the years, the American Civil Liberties Union has stood up to numerous instances of government overreach and rights infringement. Today they continue to vigorously defend individual rights like freedom of speech and religion, a woman's right to choose, the right to due process, each citizen's right to privacy, and many more.
